Starting the last month of 2015 with none other than.. a RIDE!
There's always a reason to ride, isn't it? ;) So thankful to be able to do this long trip despite a busy work schedule.
This December, I'll be riding to Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, one of Thailand's Northern-most district.

Located about 2,700KM from Singapore and neighboring Myanmar, it is the most mountainous province in Thailand where temperatures can dip to a cool 15°C during year end with little rain.
But its never too late!

Last but not least, with my waterproof RS Taichi Drymaster gears and TCX waterproof boots to shield me from the monsoon season, it's time to hit the roads!
Headed for Ipoh straight from Singapore, it started out really sunny.
2 hours into our journey on North-South Highway and we see a storm brewing strongly, as we dived right into it.
I was fearless, of course, with my RS Taichi waterproof gears >:) Hehe

It started to pour heavily, so bad that certain areas on the road were flooded. SWIMMING TIME!
Looks like my Pirelli Angel GT didn't disappoint. Repelled the rain water really well.
Stopped by Petronas to refuel, before continuing on through the rain.
The rain gradually reduced to a drizzle but the roads remained wet as we entered into Ipoh.
Checked into the hotel to rest for the night and first thing we did was dry our gloves (desperate biker's style) because although it was waterproof, it eventually got pretty soaked after being in the rain for over 4 hours.
Crossing over to Thailand tomorrow and feeling nervous about my darling's first train ride!
