Diamonds Were A Girl's Best Friend.. Until This Happened.

Get sexy. Get aggressive. Get NAKED.

It is an afternoon of SUPERBIKES GALORE as I'm privileged to drown in the abundance of these speed machines, all at one go. There ain't no diamond on a ring bigger and brighter than them! :p

Can you name them all? ;)

First up!

There's nothing not to love about this naked darling. Having the best power to weight ratio in its class, delivering up to 155HP,  the Ducati Streetfighter S 1098 Testastretta Evoluzione motor was the one that swept away Superbike World titles.

The aggressiveness of the Streetfighter's nakedness is brutal and its twin termis exhaust left me down on my knees. Despite all that menacing features, its upright riding position allows you to comfortably strut in absolute sophistication.

Hustle baby, hustle.

So you think you can handle this?

Well, think again.
Pure wickedness of the limited production Ducati Desmodescidi RR will blow you away.

Ducati's ambition to build racing replica bikes sure speaks volumes with the Desmodescidi unveiled. Hang on tight as its four stroke V-four engines allows the beast within to be unleashed once your revs hit near full throttle, grasping close to an explosive 170HP.

Probably the only piece in Singapore signed by Troy Bayliss himself, this particular Desmo is as close as I can get to a MotoGP Superbike replica.

Turn the engine on and immediately, be intimidated by the ferocious roar of the Desmo's twin exhausts.

With front & rear wheels made of forged magnesium alloy, Öhlins suspensions, DOHC desmodromic engine, sitting just below the weight of 195KG producing a top speed of over 302KM/H, get ready to launch forward with the Desmo like there's no tomorrow.

Next up, we have the delicious "Made In Borgo" Ducati Panigale S 1199 Tricolore where its maximum capacity of 195HP is stylishly translated to its striking beauty.

Did you know?
The Ducati Panigale S 1199 Tricolore possesses the most powerful twin cylinder Superquadro unit engine in the entire universe, taking the generation of Superbikes to a whole new level.

With new ergonomics and even weight distribution set at 50-50 after the rider gets on, the monocoque chassis superbike provides superb stability and handling of the bike.

It beholds perfect combination of true elegance and power that makes this Ride by Wire superbike simply breathtaking.

Don't stop drooling, because next, we have the very sporty Ducati Hypermotard 821 EVO SP.

Initially adopted from a concept bike, the Ducati Hypermotard 821 EVO SP has morphed itself into a race-ready hyrbid that crossbreeds between a sports and supermotard bike.

It's L-twin Desmodue Evoluzione engine and Brembo Monobloc callipers have brought the hyper to a new extreme, achieving more power and front-end braking yet providing a comfortable range of agility for the rider to maximize the machine's potential.

Drop back to more than a decade, and we find the classic limited production hand-built Ducati MH900e.

As they say, Old is Gold.

Designed by Pierre Terblanche, the concept of the MH900e was inspired by Mike Hailwood's (MH) glorious win in Isle Of Man TT.

With only 2,000 pieces made and sold worldwide, the first 1,000 were snapped up in barely 30 minutes! That's how sought after the Evoluzione was.

Old school as it may seem, the MH900e carries a healthy performance of today's motorcycles, producing a tamed 75HP and of course, not forgetting the distinctive rattle of Ducati's dry clutch.

Wonderfully created with red trellis frame, tubular steel single-sided swingarm, 5 spoke wheels and Brembo brake system, the Ducati MH900e Evoluzione makes a very fun ride with a tinge of nostalgia to embrace.

Last but not least, how about wrapping up today's supebike galore with a Gentleman?

Say Hello to the muscly, strong and high performance BMW HP 4.

It's BMW's first four-cylinder superbike stored with such massive power that accelerates up to 193HP, equipped with the world's first DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) suspension system to support the rider with full control of the beast.

It is easy to feel threatened by its overwhelming power and high technology features, but the HP 4 handling is actually incredibly smooth and the best part is, it willingly syncs in obedience at the twist of your throttle.

It's not everyday you get to meet a Gentleman who is humble in his confidence, courageous in character, despite all the power he encompasses.

I'm honored to have met him today.

Special thanks to Chris for all the amazing photography!! Always a joy working with him.

5 Ducatis and 1 BMW, they're definitely better than Diamonds to me! Haha.

You won't believe who does all these beauties belong to ;)
Thank you, for giving me the privilege to indulge in all your two wheeled darlings today.
